Meyokumin Edmonton Real Estate
The neighborhood of Meyokumin is located in southeast Edmonton. The neighborhood is a part of the community of Millhurst, located within Mill Woods, situated between 50th Street and 66th Street. A little more than half of the homes in Meyokumin were built between 1970 and 1980, and most of the remaining homes were built between 1980 and 1990. The majority of the homes in Meyokumin are single family homes, according to the 2005 municipal census, and approximately a third of the remaining homes are comprised of row houses. Duplexes make up the majority of the remaining house types in Meyokumin. Three quarters of the homes in the neighborhood are owner-occupied. One of the two schools in the neighborhood, Meyokumin School, operates under the Edmonton Public School Board, while the other, St. Richard Catholic Elementary School, operates under the Edmonton Catholic School District.
