The neighbourhood of Glastonbury is located in west Edmonton. It is a newer neighbourhood, with all the homes being built after 1995, according to the 2001 federal census. Single family homes are the most common type of home in Glastonbury, according to the 2005 municipal census, and make up 72% of all the homes in the neighbourhood. Duplexes make up another 18% of all the neighbourhood homes, and the remaining 9% is comprised of half row houses and half high-rise apartment-style condominiums.
