Glenwood Edmonton Real Estate
The neighbourhood of Glenwood is located in west Edmonton, and is a mix of both residential and commercial. It was a part of the Town of Jasper Place until the Town of Jasper amalgamated with Edmonton in 1964. There is one ETS station in the neighbourhood, Jasper Place, in the north east corner of Glenwood. There is also the Edmonton Police Service’s west headquarters located in the north end of the neighbourhood. The majority of homes in Glenwood were built between 1946 and 1980. Single family homes make up 49% of the homes in Glenwood, and apartments compile another 46%, with the remaining 6% being 4% duplexes and 2% row houses. 45% of the homes in Glenwood are owner-occupied.
