The neighbourhood of Lansdowne is located in south west Edmonton. The neighbourhood is right across from Michener Park, which is a residential complex for students of the University of Alberta. The Whitemud Creek Ravine runs along the neighbourhood’s west side. According to the 2001 federal census, the majority of homes in Lansdowne were built in the 1960s and 1970s.
