The neighbourhood of McLeod is found in north east Edmonton. According to the 2001 federal census, most of the homes in McLeod were built during the 1960s and 1970s, with 54.9% constructed in the 1960s and 26.7% constructed in the 1970s. The majority of the remainder of the McLeod homes were constructed during the late 1980s. All of the homes in McLeod are single-family homes, according to the 2005 municipal census, and a total of 96% of McLeod homes are owner-occupied.
