The neighbourhood of Overlanders is found in north east Edmonton. The majority of Overlanders homes were built during the 1970s and 1980s, according to the 2001 federal census, with 38.1% built during the 1970s, and 38.3% built during the 1980s. Only 7.5% of Overlanders homes were built prior to 1970. According to the 2005 municipal census, the most common type of home in Overlanders are rented apartments, and they make up 43% of all neighbourhood homes.
