The neighborhood of Satoo is located in southeast area of Edmonton, in the Knottwood community in Mill Woods. The neighborhood is situated between 91st Street and 80th Street, just north of the Anthony Henday Drive. The majority of the homes in Satoo are single family homes, according to the 2005 municipal census, and make up about 75% of the homes in the neighborhood. The other quarter of the homes in Satoo is made up of duplexes and row houses. The majority of the homes in Satoo were built between 1970 and 1980. About 80% of the homes in the neighborhood are owner-occupied. The two schools in the neighborhood are both operated by the Edmonton Public School Board: Dan Knott Junior High School and Satoo Elementary School.
