Wild Rose Edmonton Real Estate
The neighborhood of Wild Rose is located in south east Edmonton. It is situated between 34th Street and 17th Street, just south of 38th Avenue, and is a part of The Meadows district. Wild Rose is a newer neighborhood, as more than 80% of the homes were built after 1990, according to the 2001 federal census. The most common type of home in Wild Rose is the single-family home, according to the 2005 municipal census, which accounts for 88% of the homes in the neighborhood. The remaining 12% is comprised of mostly low-rise apartments, as well as some duplexes. Almost all of the homes in Wild Rose are owner-occupied. The single school in the neighborhood, Father Michael Troy Catholic Junior High School, is operated by the Edmonton Catholic School District.
