The neighborhood of Wild Rose is located in south east Edmonton. It is situated between 34th Street and 17th Street, just south of 38th Avenue, and is a part of The Meadows district. Wild Rose is a newer neighborhood, as more than 80% of the homes were built after 1990, according to the 2001 federal census. The most common type of home in Wild Rose is the single-family home, according to the 2005 municipal census, which accounts for 88% of the homes in the neighborhood.
